Brake-light Malfunction

Hey everyone, I just bought my first BMW. A 1994 325is with 95k!! One question tho: my brakelights remain on when i drive, as in they are constantly lit when the car is on. Any advice on fixing the problem?? Im thinking that the brake sensor on the pedal is stuck, but Im unsure. Please help so I can get back to enjoying my new love.

Re: Re: Brake-light Malfunction

First thing to try is the brake light switch located behind the pedal. Most E36 issues are that the lights don't come on, but in your case the switch may be stuck in the closed position. Either way, it won't hurt to change it out:
