getting a 96 civic
Hey guys, Im thinking of buying s 96 Civic, currently have a '91 civic but its been giving me trouble for a good while now, looking at the 1.4 basic model, anyone know what kind of problems these cars generally have? and what to look out for?

There's nothing that I've encountered that really stands out as a major problem, just perform preventitive maintenance on it and it'll treat you well. One thing I would like to point out to you is that if you have keyless entry and you're going to put an aftermarket head-unit you'll need to buy a special wiring harness where you have to put your stock radio into the dash in order to keep keyless-entry and the dome light running. Do a search on it and you'll find an URL that shows you step-by-step on how to perform the install.
