installing drop shackles??

they dont seem to want to come off anyway. i got the nuts off of them but the bolts wont come out because the frame is in the way. any hints or tips. and the bracket they are mounted to seems to have some kind on plug or rivet in it. do i need to get a cutter in there and just cut the bolts off and get new bolts or what? any help soon would be great need to get truck back on the road. thanks guys

I'm having mine put in today but I took it over to a buddies shop to have him do it since I've got a bad back. I think I saw a link on the fullsizechevy forum about the install. You might do a search over there...

i just wasnt looking close enought to realize the damn hitch was in the way. i had to unbolt it and then is came right off and was very simple. makes the truck look alot better.
