downpipe gaskets

Hey, when I put my downpipe on, i just reused the old gaskets..which I knew would leak eventually, but I didn't want to wait. So obviously now they are leaking. I wanna switch over to copper gaskets as I feel they are the best to go with. But I was wondering, since the downpipe is slightly larger than the stock...are there better gaskets to get, or do most of you just get stock replacements. I never really checked how well the stock gaskets lined up with the ATR dp...I just bolted it on. So I'm thinking I'm gonna swap them today or tomorrow. Just wondering what everyone else has used.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.

Re: downpipe gaskets

I have a stillen dp, and DR sent brand new stock gaskets with the downpipe to replace, so i have stock gaskets on the car and everything is just fine with them.
