Re: major problems help!!!!

possible main relay. lay under the dash, and turn the key to the on positition. if you hear the main relay click once, you are fine. if it clicks a lot of times, or not at all, you need to change the main relay.

also, turn the key on and listen for the fuel pump. its under the car, right under the back seat.

if the pump comes on, and it still wont start, pull a plug wire and ground it to the valve cover with a screwdriver or spare sparkplug. if its not sparking when you crank it, start hunting in the distributor for the loss of spark.

let us know whats up after you try these things

ok everything you said checked out... so the car take a few min to start but it will finally start ... i removed the svafc cause i thought that was the prob but now when i start driving the car with hesitate really bad and try to kill itself ... i am totally lost on what the prob could be... could it be the injectors?... about 4 months ago i replaced the cap plugs and wires so i don't think that could be the prob... any ideas?

Re: major problems help!!!!

the main relay is a tricky beast. sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesnt. usually it screws up when its hot in your car. my guess is still on that

Re: major problems help!!!!

well, does the car start fine sometimes and not at all other times? does it start fine, but not run worth a crap sometimes? that pretty much the only way to know if its the relay.

if you take the relay out, and try supplying 12 volts and a ground to the feed, and it doesnt click over, then its bad. but if it does click, it still might be bad. they tend to screw up when they get hot.

also, it might be clicking on and off normally, but the pin in it that supplies your fuel injection system with 12 volts might be faulty

im not sure how much they cost, but NAPA carries them.

Re: major problems help!!!!

You can replace a TPS. Just lightly tap a few slits in the rivets and turn them counter clockwise with a flathead screwdriver and the sensor will pop right out...
