87 Calais

I was recently given an 87 Calais with the 2.5 Tech 4. The motor runs very well for the milage on it, however it has a slight knock. I was told that they all do that, anyone know if that is fact or fiction?

ya there a noisy engine i had one in my chevy s-10 i called it time ex it ticked but it was dependable
