1993 Dodge Colt

I have recently noticed a problem with my car. When I am driving, no matter what speed, the steering wheel slightly turns back and forth. I notice it more on cornering. What could be the cause of this? Could it be caused by an unbalanced tire? It is almost similar to when you have a warped brake rotor and the brake pedal pulsates, but transfer the pulsating from the brake pedal to your steering wheel. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you getting any vibrations/noise between 40-65mph? Could be an unbalanced tire, wheel bearings, tie rods, alignment, warped rotors.

Re: 1993 Dodge Colt

There is vibration at 40-65, but it seems like it is more noticable at slower speeds.

Re: 1993 Dodge Colt

Figured out the problem. I have a flat spot on the drivers side front tire. Thanks anyways.
