Seat Change

Does anyone know of any other seat that will fit an 02 Sunfire Gt?

Will a leather Grand Prix seat fit or something like that..
Maybe a Grand AM Gt Seat?
Maybe some nice Recaros.. prob to pricey for my budget..
I find the seats really uncomfortable in this thing..
Might be the lack of adjustment..

Mike

Re: Seat Change

I just put in a set of D.A.D racing seats into my car and all i had to do was knock off the spacers from the driver side slider and drill 2 new holes becase 2 of the original holes line up amazing. On the passenger side all i needed was 2 metal tabs which i just used a galvinized small door hinge bracket and drill some holes and voila...

Re: Seat Change

That's why I'm buying seats, brackets and sliders all at once, preferably from the same company so it's guarenteed to go directly in. You should research before you buy anything you're not sure of.

Re: Seat Change

dude... its call customizing. Remove your stock brackets/sliders from seats, match up your new seats to the sliders. Its possible that the rear holes of the seats will line up to the brackets perfectly. Then for the front 2 its just a matter of drilling a new hole and then adding a tab of metal. Its quite simple man. Took me like an hr to do everything. On the driver side seat, you have to knock off the spacers tho or the seat will sit extremely high

You can do this with a drill some 1/4" metal tabs and bolts.
