Good Plugs and Wires?
I was planning on getting new plugs and wires but should I get -6s or
-7s? These are for a N/A car so I think -7's are out of the question and what gap does the 240 need? |

Re: Good Plugs and Wires?
You don't really need any special plugs unless you race everywhere. I used the NGK BKR5E-11s the whole time I was NA, even with IHE adn a lot of racing. I never pinged. ONe very important thing is to torque them correctly. If you haev a torque wrench, that is the best way to go. Its often overlooked by most people, but very important. Gap to .039"-.043". The box says as well.
The general rule of thumb for going one step colder is "One step colder for every 100hp gain," Wires, you should call www.phatka-t.com and get the Taylor wires. I am gonna say that wires will do squat for you unless the wires you have now are faulty.
