new guy on the block

Hello everyone. Thanks for the insight of whomever started this forum. I have learned so much about my newest addition to my S-10 collection (94 Tahoe Blazer 4X4 4.3L "W" 4dr) from reading this forum. I own 6 various models or variations of S-10 vehicles and have such great luck and satisfaction from driving them. I am by no means a mechanic, but being monetarily challenged, and wanting the job done right (at a fair price) I learned long ago that if it must be fixed, it must be my job to do so. I have been fortunate enough thus far as most of the other trucks are 2.2 or 2.8 engines which are pretty simple. This newest addition has the 4.3L Vortec which I am pretty certain will impress me once I get all the bugs worked out of it. It has been a crash course education for me with all the differences, but it is an adjustment I am willing to make in exchange to own a reliable vehicle that I enjoy driving. I don't mind sharing the info I have on any issues, and will only do so if I am relatively certain that the info will actually help someone else.
Man, I sure wish someone would come up with some simple solutions for the 4.3L fuel injection problems that don't cost an arm and a leg... oh well, maybe someone will in a future post. A rebuildable cpi would be nice! Thanks to all.
