What A scam!

Wow, I almost got caught into a scam. There is a guy selling a 1997 na Supra for 7 grand, I was excited, I email him to talk about it, yada yada. All is going good, but hes from italy, selling the car cheap! So i get another email from another guy, who is also "moving" to italy, selling a cheap supra. Same deal, exact same story I knew this is too good to be true. I talk to him, get his address, we're working all these things out, he gives me his msn messenger, yada yada, I ask for pics, he sends me the pics of the car. I asked for his address, sends me it somewhere off in italy. He sent me all the information, and told me to send a downpayment of three grand to him via Western Union, and he will send me shipping receipts and give me a 7 day guarantee, paying the rest of the 7 grand off when i receive the car. I believe its a cheap way to make a quick 3 grand off somebody. I believe its fraud, because i asked to send money order through my bank, but he is hell bent on getting it wired by Western Union. fuck that

Re: What A scam!

I was selling one, but I've decided to keep it for the time being and put some more time and effort into it.

lol

LOL...thats why when you buy a car, make sure you are there to drive it first, see the person, and give money hand in hand that way you wont get scammed....rule of thumb, never trust anyone online...(even me... )

Re: What A scam!

Do like I do and bring a mechanic friend with you.
I've had a complete tune up done on a car, with all new plugs, wires, ect at the shops expense before I bought it
