Talking Project Taking Shape.

Okay, well I now have a Mitsu TC04 Turbo & I went and got my ZC head today. Next week I will be getting Pistons/Rings/Gaskets for low compression & getting the head leveled with a valve job. The ZC head will be going on my D15B2 block along with my JDM Intake Manifold (bigger runners etc. ) Walbro Fuel pump B&M Fuel regulator and other extras for the turbo. Hopefully the car will be fully running within the next month & 1/2. Also my buddy at work today was telling me his friend has a "Frankenstien" Motor in his Acura or Civic, wtf is in that combo?

Frankenstein is an LS block with either a GSR or B16 head. It's often called an LS-R or LS VTEC swap....

Re: Project Taking Shape.

Frankenstien is usually the LS/VTEC (B16A, or B18C1 (GSR) head on a B18B (Integra LS) block... But Ive heard people call the CR-VTEC also a frankenstein, which is the same heads, just using the B20B or B20Z (CR-V) block...

lol, of course sohc. taking my zc head to the shop tommorrow for the valve job resurface & cleaning! Also ordering my pistons, rings, head gasket (for low comp.) and rod bearings. As for the TC04 that is the model number on my turbo, it is a much older mistu. turbo off of an 84 dodge colt. I might be odering a T3 though, we will see how things work out.
