jeep rear differential

I would like to know what type of differential and what type of fluid in my vehicle

The rear diff should be a dana 44. You can tell for sure by looking at the tag attached to the bolts on the left side of the diff cover. the numbers there give all the info you need to order parts.

The fluid you need is 75w90 for normal driving and 75w140 if you tow or off road it.

Use synthetic in any case.

Mine is a Dana 35c, so make sure you check the tag. Plus, you never mentioned what JGC you have.
