brakes

I got to practicly stand on my brakes to stop. The pedal is like pushing my foot off the pedal. Some one told me to clean the egr since i just put in new fuel injectors&nut-kit. The egr was fine. My brake pads are fine too. could this mean I need to change the brake booster?

Re: brakes

Take the vaccum hose off the booster, and hold a quarter against the hose.
Get someone to start it and if you have enough vaccum there you should be able to let go of the quarter and it'll stay conected to the hose.

Then you know that it's the booster, otherwise it's a problem with the vaccum
