Turning Steering wheel 2000 acord

Hello all, I have a 2000 accord LX When I make a turn right or left, slight turn or even a bigger turn The steering wheel does not come back in a smooth motion it come back with a jerking up and down motion well thats the best I could explain it. Im not sure what this is there is no weird noises and the wheel turns fine I check the power fluid and all is ok. any ideas or suggestions anything would be helpfull thanks a million
