sway bar endlinks
Hi all, newbie jeeper here and have to replace the front sway bar end links. the driver side link has seperated at the sway bar end.
i was told by my local jeep deeler that they need to be replaced so i 'd thought id save some cash and do it myself. ive got my haynes manual ready too go and seems too be and easy fix, but seeing how im such a rookie i thought i'd get some advice from you folks on the complexity of this job. im thinking loosen lugs raise jeep on jack's pop off tires and replace links sounds pretty simple but any specialty tools involved like pickle fork for instance or any other tools other than socket and lug wrench??? sorry but forgot too mention its a 98ZJ I-6 4.0 Grand any thoughts geatly appreciated. |

Don think you wil need any special tools other than a big hammer and a torquer socket #50 or 55 if i remember right. A pickle fork might be helpful but Ive done them with and with out some times the link gets stuck in the sway bar and other times they pop right off.
