Dodge Avenger Maintenance

I have Dodge Avenger 6V 1998. I want to change some things, because when I driving somthing in front is making noisy. Also when I driving on rough surface seems to be like loosing bottom. When i turning it make also noise. This happen in front of the car. Could You suggest me what i suppose to change in this car. Thank You

well i actually have had the same problem and it was the shocks but it was also my ball jointsseperating from a long period of driving on rough roads with bad shocks sounds bad but its not too much to fix if your a diyselfer.

Well i talk to a friend of mine whos a mechanic and hes said check your front sway bar he said he had a car come in once with a very simialar problem and the sway bar was disconnected just from high milage or even from hitting something in the road and what was happening was the sway bar was rattling under there from being disconnected... i dont know just tryin to help....

Just so you know, there was a recall in the late 90's for ball joint play/seperation. Dodge dealerships will still fix this for free, they just need to run the VIN number to see if it has been complied with yet. I believe they replace all of the ball joints. Call your local dealership.

Yes, it is applicable to ALL Dodge Avengers. Regardless of who initially bought it.
