FlowMaster Mufflers
I've been wondering lately about a new muffler, although I'm not sure what type to get. It will most likely be from Flowmaster. I have, however, been looking at the Super 40. Has anybody heard one of these on a 305?

I don't know if I have the 40, but I have had a flowmaster on it for over 6 years. When I first got it installed it sounded really good. Eventually I had to have the flowmaster replaced with a new one and I replaced most of the pipes and the cat. converter. The guy who did it for me put on a new cat. converter from a 95'(i think?) and put on larger pipes all the way back. It is the best sound I have ever had. I don't like the real loud rumble, but it has a solid sound. Get a little loud over 75 though. I have a 350, but you should still get a good sound on the 305. Hope that helps!

Re: FlowMaster Mufflers
Awesome, thanks for the help. I think I have a regular 40 too. It sounds ok but I like the loud grumble and pop. The super 40 is newer and supposed to have a deeper tone.
