93 S10 Blazer heater core trouble.
Ok, so I was taking the carpet out of the blazer that I bought so I could clean it and I noticed that the heater core is leaking. My problem is that I can't quite figure out how to get at it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Take all the bolts out of the dash. Pull the passenger side of the dash out as much as you can. Disconnect the hoses in the engine compartment. Remove the 6 7mm screws holding the heater core in. Remove. Replace in reverse. It's about a 5 hour job for an experienced person, about an 8 hour job for a newbie...

Support the dash up, Do not pull on it hard. If you do the dash will crack. Do the repair all at once. If you stop dont close the doors. I found out the hard way that if you close your doors with the dash pulled out it hits the door panels and cracks the ends of the dash.
