Power windows ...

Sounds like I have hit a common snag around here, the driver side power window has gone bust with symptoms such as this page mentions before going completely dead: http://shbox.com/page/windowmotor.html

Sounds like a terrible design...

Now, anyone know a ballpark figure to have this done professionally? The step-by-step tutorial looks pretty tricky and I wonder if it's really worth the hassle...

I was quoted around $250 I think, I just did it myself it ain't all that hard as long as you follow the directions it's very doable...

I dont know about the 4th gens but the real only hard part ont the third gens is getting the stupid panel off.....its a pain in the butt.
