Steering Wheel Alignment?
I apologize if this is the wrong forum, or if this is an insanely stupid question...
My Tahoe's steering wheel comes to rest slightly offcenter. In other words, the truck is heading straight ahead, but the steering wheel at an angle, instead of being at 12:00 it is at 1:00. (like I was turning right a little) Is there any way to fix this? It drives me nuts when I am going down the highway... |

Re: Steering Wheel Alignment?
this is normally a sign your toe is off(unless a inproper repair was made to the steering wheel/shaft). and is corrected but adjusting toe during an alignment. a missaligned wheel should not be corrected by pulling the wheel(unless pulling the wheel caused the problem) doing it this way can damage the clock spring and cause self steer IIRC
