An original piece of work

Anyone ever seen anything like this before? http://www.cardomain.com/ride/780605

The guy custom fabricated his own ground effects. I kind of like the idea of what he did with the front bumper, that would be perfect for an intercooler. The fenders are pretty cool as well. He's got a site with all his progress and tons of pictures on it. It's all in "fin" or whatever Finlands language is called, but the pictures pretty much speak for themselves. Check it out.

Eh, to each his own. I mainly just dislike the rims, rear bumper, and tail lights.

I don't like it at all either, but I think the only reason his tires look too wide is because he screwed up the quarter panels

Re: An original piece of work

Well, I personally don't think it looks that bad. Yes the rear bumper looks like crap.. and yeah I know the front bumper looks like something from The Fast and the Furious. But even still, it's something new. It's just nice to see people customizing Firebirds like that. Especially since the only body style modifications out there for these cars are limited to the Wings West kits. But the guys fenders are just killer, I love those. They run perfectly with the moldings on the door. And as ugly as the front bumper may appear to be.. the concept behind it is really clever. If you were to try to rig up an intercooler on a bird, then you know that there's not really any good accomodating places to put one. But, with a front bumper like that, you could perfectly put one right up in front. I dont know.. I just like seeing people do new and outrageous things that you haven't seen anyone do before.

The front looks pretty good. I think with a trans am back end and spoiler and a better set of rims--the car would be sick. Im not a fan of the tailights at all.
