Question 84 Riv rear shocks replacement

Hello,
I want to replace the original air shocks with standard gas shocks, any suggestions, experiences or advice would be appreciated.

Re: 84 Riv rear shocks replacement

Hi. I haven't checked here lately so I didn't see your post until now. Hope this comes in handy before you do your job.

Changing to a different kind of shock would not give you the correct lift for the rear of the car. The springs alone aren't enough. You would be riding around just like your air shocks or system were bad.

Stick with the air shocks for best handling and performance. Good luck.

Mark
