warning...beep
is there an easy way to disconnect warning system(on a 01 ex)...I'm talking about the one that goes off when you open the drivers side door with the keys still in the ig.

Try this...
Turn your key to IGNITION but, don't start the car and wait.
I get a few long beeps and then... silence (except for my radio).

There is a thing called a sanity saver that holds the switch in the door jam closed even with the door open. Professionals use it when working on a car.

Like I told some other dude. You can pull back the door panel in the drivers door. Once you do that you will see a green, and brown wire. (If I am correct.) Anyways it runs to the button. You can cut this wire here in the door, and leave it cut. Or you can install a metal on/off toggle switch between where you cut the wires. It really isn't that hard. I did it by myself...
