a/c and auto dim headlights going wacky

Hi guys/gals,

I have a 97 GP GT fully loaded. Would have bought a GTP except I was talked out of it cause of maint issues with the Super Charger. Believe me I'm fine with the 3.8. Has 85K on it had it since 24K.

Here's the problem. The blower motor doesn't work unless it's on high (1-5 on 5). Has heads up display and auto dimming lights. It goes thru cycle when using the A/C. In other words the headlights/fog lamps will flicker when using the A/C. Seems to want to reset itself. First started when it was under heavy load. Lights, A/C, wipers all on in the rain at a stop. Strange things happen(ed) to the trip meter, oil life, fuel economy thing of a gig computer etc. Wants to reset with a clear code ie 88.8 or something, then goes back to normal. Think it's possibly a relay with the auto dimming feature. Not sure. Replaced the temp resistor a while ago located in the cooling compartment due to a similar problem (ie blower fan would work only on 3-5) but before this started to happen. Alternator is a refurb from NAPA 2 yrs old, the battery is fine. The car was flooded above the door threshold about a year ago. Screwed up the SRS computer module under the pass seat. I live with that. Don't think it's related. Any thoughts or suggestions with what to check/replace are most appreciated.
