The Greddy is 2.5, or fits on the gst, not the gsx. One of the two, I forget which. The HKS was made in the same plant as the Greddy, and is the same, bend for bend. The two differences are color and muffler. Look at them, though, and their geometry is identical. For that matter, they don't flow well. They constrict down to almost two inches, at points. That's about stock. You want to buy true three inch exhaust.

If you want a deeper sound and an exhaust that will be more of a true performance part, look into the n1. The only problem with it is that everyone and their mom has it. Also look into Thermal, that's even deeper sounding. Both are three, and don't constrict. Naturally, your other option is to make the exhaust yourself, if you feel brave.

If you want to hear an n1, search for eclipse or dsm videos. Like I said, everyone and their mom has that exhaust

hey the apex'i n1 3 '' exaust(it has the least amount of bends) is nice and sounds good for specs and to purches it u or him can go to apexi-usa.com or for a lot less go to www.dsmparts.com its only 519.95 all the other places if seen it its like $580.00 or $629.00 and with the money he'll save he can get the Apex'i 3'' downpipe to thats about 204.95 im not quite sure the shipping rates . as for the greedy exaust its sounds good to but it might cost a lil more . HKS i have no clue or u mite check out the apex'i gt exaust i would of got that but its only made for 2g not 1g

I went with the Extreme turbo back with a Thermal muffler and couldn't be happier. It doesn't have the high pitch like some of the other cans out there, nice and deep. Even better, if you were going to do your exhaust, Extreme Motorsports offers the Thermal in a complete turbo back kit or on it's own. They cut you a little better price on the kit versus putting it together bit by bit.

Re: exhaust

DSMtuners should have some sound clips still. Apexi dunk here and it's fine. Should all sound about the same... people love their thermals, buschurs, ATRs, RSRs, etc.
