Are all D-series Blocks the same?

I have an extra D15 out of my 89 civic. My friend is looking for a new motor and his, it is a 93 civic DX. Cant i just put his intake manifold, Dist. altenater brackets and all that stuff from his engine block on to mine or are they diffrent? I need some extra cash and space in my garage.
