Thumbs up Engine temp, how low or high is yours?

Just curious as to what everybodies GTP's (or any S/C 3800's) engines temps are in town and on the highway. Mine seems mighty cool at 140 on the highway and like 150 in town, even in this hot Iowa weather of 80 degrees. Oh, by the way I have a 180 thermostat.

Lightbulb

I have a '97 GT... problems with Dexcool turning to sludge and engine over heating and idleing rough. I had a 195 thermostat..but was only running at around 140-150 (no matter how I was driving). Not right. Replaced the thermostat w/ a new 195 --- flushed the system and its been running like perfectly since then.

You may want to check your Dexcool, and your oil...if the engines not getting warm enough, it could possibly cause problems in the future.

Just a thought.
