b16 02 sensors not hooked up still runs the same
My o2 sensors are not hooked up and my car still runs the same, the check engine light comes on when the car warms up, i figured it was an 02 prooblem because my ecu was throwing a code 1. i've bought an 02 simulator, switched o2 wires back and forth and still nothing, so i decided to disconnect them and run it, and it still runs the same. weird.. this could be why im not feeling the real power of the b16 cus my friends stock SE probe keeps even with me. before i could beat him. can anyone help?

Yes, your probably running extremly rich, and I don't even think your VTEC will engage if the check engine light is on.
You should be able to walk on a Probe. |

GET AN O2!
They're not even expensive. |

Re: b16 02 sensors not hooked up still runs the same
you need to hook up BOTH o2 sensors, or at the very least, wire both ECU pinouts to one o2 sensor. and you need to be using shielded wire. or you will get interference from the engine
