steering wheel audio controls

how many of you changed your double din stock stereo to an aftermarket? (i have an 05, so i don't know which year is the same as mine) and if so, can you still control the aftermarket stereo with the steering wheel controls or do they lose their functionality?

Well, I think those steering wheel controls will lose there function, because aftermarket radios don't have those controls. I have a buick with controls on the wheel and once I installed an aftermarket radio, they no longer worked. One option can be getting an aftermarket radio with a remote control.
