97 Dakota Heater Core Replacement NEED HELP!!!

Im in the middle of replacing my heater core on my 97 dakota and so far i got the dash ripped out but now im to the point where i have to remove the heater/ac box off the firewall...and I dont know what/how to do that.....not sure what i have to dismantel from the engine compartment.......If anyone can walk me through the rest of the install or give me some pointers that would be greatly appreciated

By now you may have this done but in case you haven't, After you unhook the heater core and the A/C evap there are 4 (I believe) nuts on the firewall that have to be removed. Unplug the fan resistor and the attached ground and feed the harness into the pass compartment pushing the rubber plug with it. There is a metal strap inside which has to have a screw removed from it. Pull the nipple off of the drain outside and gently start pulling the outer end down and out. The vac line in the eng comp for the heater controls has to be undone also. As you are removing you will see the fan harness has to be repositioned and unplugged. Also the vac lines and a cable which should be removed by taking the nut off of the stem on the box and pulling up to remove the casing hold down. Mine was a 94 hopefully there aren't many if any differences. Took about 3 hours to change my evap coil with recharging, good luck
