Unhappy Engine quitting

Engine quit - while driving - battery not dead - alternator good, lights all electrical worked. Waited few minutes started up. Quit driving - started again after waiting again. Fuel tank was full all connections tight. What happened.

Did it quit on hard turns while steering or on straightaways?

Both - it doesn't matter, sometimes stopped at a light.

Well, I had the problem and it was resolved when I cleaned the throttle plate. I also added a cone filter. I have not had anymore problems.
