Exterior Temp Gauge?

OK..I have the Dual Zone Automatic Climate control in my 2000 GTP
that also includes a readout of the temperature outside the vehicle.
How do you reset or recalibrate this? It's like 90 degress outside today
and this guage says its like 54 or something crazy.

I know its not a biggie, but it's been wrong since the day I got the
car (2 yrs ago) and its getting on my nerves. ~

Re: Exterior Temp Gauge?

The sensor has shorted out. It can cause problems w/ the a/c not working, so if the ac stops working thats probably the first thing to fix.

Then sensor is called the ambient air temp sensor and is like $12 at dealer.

Open hood and look on the left side of the car sensor is between the bumber area and radiator.
