Re: I Got Smoked By A Toyota Camry!?!?!?!??

trucks have gear ratios designed for towing and moving heavy weights. u should expect to lose in any truck unless it's a F-550 (or lightning). my 6-cyl was neck and neck all the way to 70mph WHILE HE HAD A FULL LOAD IN THE BACK!

Isn't the new Ram SRT-10 supposed to be fast as ****?

the nissan fronteir makes claims of under & seconds 0-60, if so beats a stock V6

its actually my best friend, he is a toyota technician and recently when rebuilding his camry (of all free parts let me add) he completely beefed up the rotating assembly and may have done some head work or got a different head on there and messed with his computer. and then damn thing is fast as hell for a little camry, it smokes little fart pipes all the time, eclipses and civics and such.

this has nothing to do with anything but one time we were sitting at a light, i was behind a cavalier with a fart pipe and body kit and the whole 9 yards and he was up beside him. well we were several cars back in the traffic and i look up when i hear the camry revving like hell and i see him burning out and all the sudden POW...VVVVRROOOOOOOMM

blew the fucking exhaust pipe off the header. it sounded like he blew the engine, and then it sounded like a race car with no exhaust at all on it. the fart pipe dudes were all pointing and laughing at him, it was pretty hillarious.

How the hell... damn, good thing it was just the exhaust from the headers. Did he mess anything else up? Btw, have you ever raced him in the maro?

no once he hooked the pipe back up it was fine. just had to reset the cpu i think.

yeah i raced him in the maro, and he actually hung with me more so than lots of the fart pipes that ride around my way. but it was still pretty much just a joke type thing.
