A/C issues still

Hey all,

I'm still having A/C issues. Does anyone have any input for an A/C system that has intermittant issues. It seems to get cool every so often (not as good as it should still) but mostly blows uncooled air.

Also, how hard should it be to manually rotate/turn the mixing valves/flaps under the dash. I removed an actuator and twisted the flap myself...it was fairly difficult to turn.

Thanks - Drew

I know that this may not help at all..

My system was working a little different every day when I bought it a year ago. I added some refrigerant booster and went fine. After a long trip up from NC my car overheated in I95 traffic (memorial day). The next day I replaced the thermo. and a couple of other things. I noticed the same "acting up". I hit it with refrigerant boost again and now it blows like a son of agun. Pretty sure you probably looked into refigerant boost, but its a rather cheap way to make sure that you refrigerant is up to spec.
