ABS Light

Over the past couple months, the abs light has appeared on my 94 si. If i turn the engine off and turn it back on, the light turns off. Could this be a faulty circuit or a more serious problem like the abs system?

look back 6 threads. Bleed the system or in another words have a place flush out your brake fluid. if that doesn't work your in the same boat as the guy 6 threads back.. i doubt it would be the circuit

my fault I apologize I did not read your post carefully. Your saying you turn the car on, the abs light is on. You shut the car off, turn it on, then the light goes off. My car does the exact thing as well intermidently. It actually did it today. It might do it once or twice a month. I honestly don't know what it is. I have found that it does this in more humid weather or after it has rained outside. Is this the case with you both? Thats one characteristic of the problem that I can point out.

Re: ABS Light

My 92 Si did that when the brake fluid was low. Added brake fluid and the problem went away.

Re: ABS Light

As the brake pads wear, the fluid in the resevoir gets lower, or there is a leak.
