1992 Jeep Cherokee Power Window Problem

I HAVE A POWER WINDOW STUCK IN THE DOWN POSITION AND CANNOT GET THE WINDOW UP. i HAVE TAKEN THE AWITCH BUTTON AND CLEAN. ALL SWITCHES WORK EXCEPT FOR THIS ONE SWITCH ON THE DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW, i HEAR THE SWITCH ENGAGE WHEN I PRESS IT DOWN BUT NOTHING WHEN I PRESS UPWARD. i HAVE TAKEN THE PANEL OFF AND TRACED THE WIRING AND IT ALL SEEMS GOOD WITH NO SKINS OR BREAKS. ANY IDEAS.

true but to answear your question, sounds like you are going to have to replace the switch anyway but to just get it up you can cut the wires andtouc hw/e 2 togather to make the window go up...but im no expert...but that is what i would do...
