get go smoke

Now this isn't big enough to see from the driver seat, but a friend told me when i punched the gas a small cloud of smoke comes out of the exhaust. He said it wasn't alot and the smoke was a lighter gray and not to dark. I was just a little concerned when i heard. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

most likely valve seals, they are pretty common

Re: get go smoke

ok folks your making this seems alittle bit bigger then it truly is. sure it could be valves or seals dont get me wrong im sure its a old engine. but when you romp on the gas a small cloud will come out becuase your taking a regualr flow through the pipes and then when you get on it its putting out mroe exhaust so its gonna force more exhaust out at once.

Re: get go smoke

seriously its not that big of a problem. sure it didnt smoke when the car was new like 13 year ago. But motors start to wear down and burn alittle bit of oil. My 89 si smoked like champ and still drove perfectly fine and pulled nice until the day I crashed it. I really wouldnt worry about it. Add some lucas next time you do a oil change. Dont let blu scare you, he doesnt know what hes talking about anyway LOL jk.

Besides hondas are known to smoke at WOT anyway.
