Resetting oil change light

How exactly is this done I tried holding the reset switch down while engine was running in park but it did not work. Help

Re: Resetting oil change light

Welcome to the forum.

Turn key to "run" (but don't start the engine). Then press the "reset" button once. The change oil light on the dash should now be flashing. Now press and hold the reset button until you hear a chimeing noise. Release the button, turn off the key and your done.
