Corvette style wheels for Impala?

Hi, I'm looking for some nice aftermarket wheels for my 2004 Impala. I think I want a 5 or 6 spoke wheel. They have to be chrome. I've looked at a lot of aftermarket wheels and I can't find any that I just love. When I look at a new Corvette with the 5 spoke chrome wheels, they just look so sharp. I think something like that would look perfect. But I can't find any that look just like that in an aftermarket wheel. I find some that look close, but no matter what, there's always something I don't like about it. I'm really looking for the extremely plain 5 or 6 spoke wheel with no fancy anything on it. All the aftermarket wheels insist on putting their logo on it, or putting some bead type things going around the outside of the wheel, or something to mess it up. Does anyone know of some aftermarket wheels that just look really sharp? (They don't have to necessarily have to be a 5 or 6 spoke wheel.)

Re: Corvette style wheels for Impala?

Well, I doubt a Corvette wheel would fit. I would imagine the studs are spaced differently for a corvette. So it would have to be a similar wheel but I don't think a Corvette wheel would fit. I've seen a few wheels I like at www.tirerack.com. The one I like the best is ASA JH2. It is a chrome plated 5 star spoke wheel. The only thing I don't like about the wheel is it has all of those circles around the edge that look like screw heads. I like the Kazera KZ-A, but the spokes are just slightly too wide. I was thinking the ASA-AR1 look nice... but I'm not 100% sure of the mesh look. Although on the Impala, I think it looks really nice. But if I could get the ASA JH2 without the screw heads around the outside of the wheel, it would be my dream wheel. It basically looks like a Corvette wheel. It is the most basic looking 5 spoke wheel in the world. You would think someone would make it other than OEM.

(I really like that www.tirerack.com though. It allows you to see what the wheel would look like on the Impala. Something I wish I would had seen on my last car when I bought the wheels. I hated them after I seen them on the car but I couldn't return them.)

I agree tirerack is a nice place... I havn't really seen many good choices for Impala's either, Corvette wheels look good on a lot of cars IMO
