94 explorer alarm

i would like to unhook alarm as it has given me trouble how do i do this
even with new batteries my remote does not work sometimes
and all i have to do is accidently turn on alarm and then the fun may begin. any help would welcome thanks

I tore mine out a couple of years ago for the same reason. As I remember, the unit is under the dash on the drivers side. I took out the unit and spliced the wires for the door locks together. I believe they are color coded and were easy enough to identify. I even pulled the horn out of the engine compartment. Sorry I do not have too many details, but if I could do it, it isn't too difficult.
