Overhead lining falling
Anyone know of a good way to fix the overhead lining from falling? I noticed that the front (near the windshield) is coming loose and theres a section over the passenger head that is getting pretty low...any after market products? In the past I used 3M adhesive glue (spray can) but that was a temporary fix..

you have to have a new one done...like you say the glues are only a temp fix..........check out the aftermarket places or a automotive glass place

Re: Overhead lining falling
It's usually about $130 to have the whole ceiling redone, where I live.

Re: Overhead lining falling
i had bought some good upolstry adhesive and worked fine. you need to spray it on both pieces and let it tack up a couple of minutes. its tough to get it wrinkle free since the adhesive bonds instantly.

Re: Overhead lining falling
What is the average price for redoing the enitre ceiling lining of a volkswagon passat in South Florida? Do you have to go to a German dealer? How much will this effect a privae party resell value?
