Help.. Where is the Thermostat? 1997

OK folks.

Feeling a little dumb here.

Where the heck is the thermostat on a 97 cavalier?

Any pic available online?

Anyone good at explaining where it is?

Thanks.

Re: Help.. Where is the Thermostat? 1997

On most cars it's just inside a metal housing that is usually connected to the main coolant line coming out of the radiator.

Hey.. That IS great.

Any chance you have the legend that tells you what everything else is by number?

That way I can REALLY get myself into trouble changing out the water pump too.

I also have picture diagrams of how to remove the engines, breakdowns of the lower block, upper block, and cylander head. For the 2.2 OHV's, 2.4L and ecotec.
