Question zc in 92 dx?

Hi all,
Well i have a 92 dx coupe, and ive been working on it for a while, ive re-painted it white, added a nice planet audio system(sub&amp), put 17inch black rims(w/chrome lip), as well as skunk2 coil overs, short shifter, inject cold air intake, and a Greddy cat-back exhaust.....and now i want to do a motor swap, but not one that u see everyday, i just got a jdm zc dohc, and i want to put it in my dx....im looking forward to haveing 137hp instead of 102 =/....no i dont want a dohc vtec blah blah blah.....i want to put my zc in my dx, but im not sure of what ill need to do it....i have the motor and ecu....and i was told it will fit on my tranny, so could someone plz tell me what ill next extra, and any little things i should know about this swap so i can do it on my own =D, thanks all!

Re: zc in 92 dx?

Although the motor you have is a beauty,i would sell that and work towards a bigger, nicer motor, like say the b18c5,comes frim the integra type r,would be much nicer,faster,funner...although more work....will definatly pay off in the end,the b18c5 has around 195 horsepower..........but i read that u dont want vtech...for your motor you wont need to much...should be an easy drop in...if u need any help, ask my buddy lxnder...hes a genious...

Re: zc in 92 dx?

I Have the same thing except i have bull frog head on mine, but for the best results dont use ur stock tranny, only if you just have too. Try an use the zc tranny or a si tranny. Make sure everything is Jspec. (JAPAN) U can use ur stock axels. but get all the smaller things with the motor like the manifold, cables and sensors, not sure if you can but i couldnt use my stock ones. thats all for now.
