i just installed a 70mm bbk throttle body on a 00 civic si. when it hits vtec the car will bog and die. when i try to start it i have to push the gas pedal a little and then itll start again. what can be wrong? im guessing its the throttle position sensor. how do i check to see if its the tps?

ummm, if you push in on the clutch and coast, dose it die too? that would be an IAC valve problem, at least it was in my case.

yea it dies when i push on the clutch too. bbk has these 2 vac ports on the top next to the map sensor that the si doens't use. it sucks in air when the car is on. am i supposed to plug it to prevent it from sucking air
