Crash, bash, mash....

Well, I think I want to turn my 70 camaro model into a crashed car or a junkyard car, since I am not pleased with the result. How would I do so? Any sites? Any help is appreciated!

I have heard of a trick *but never tried it* and that is heating water up to almost or to boiling, dip the section of the car you wish to damage leaving the parts on it that you want to be damaged. Meaning tires if you want it pushed up into the wheel well, bumpers, grills that sort of stuff and then do to it what you want. A guy in my old model club said he boiled some water, stuck the car in it for about 4 or 5 minutes (if I remember correctly to soften up the whole thing including the suspention and body at the same time) then gently pushed it against the drip edge/splash gaurd of his countertop (the flat part that goes up the wall). I would imagine if you were trying to make it look like it hit a tree or pole the best bet would be to get a stick and push the model into that so it forms around it to give it the correct realism. You may have to redip it in the hot water several times to reach the desired affect you want, I was also told this is not suppose to hurt/blister up the paint as bad as the candle or lighter trick.
