temp sensor plug

anyone that has added the temp sensor to your truck, do you have a part # for the wiring connector at the sensor or know where i can get it.

You already have 2 temp sensors for your truck. One for the gauge in the cluster (mounted on the driver;s side block just above the #5 spark plug) and one for the ECM next to the thermostat)

Are you asking about adding an aftermarket gauge? If so just tap into the one on the side of the block. Or are you asking for a replacement sensor? Kind of confuzzled..

no , i mean the ambient air temp sensor for the overhead console. i need the plug that connects to the sensor behind the grill.

Ahhhh! Ok, don't have the part num but just stop at any local gm dealership and they can look it up for you.

Pepboys has them too... They're called GM weatherpak connectors. Other autoplaces might have them, but I always see them at pepboys for like 3 bucks.
