Re: engine swap
The 91 & 92 Rodeo's ARE Chevy/GMC engines; the 3.1L.
So it's possible you may be able to find a 3.1L that'll fit right in - somewhat smaller then the engine you had in your 95. If your's was a 3.2L. If you had a 2.2L, then the 3.1L is a giant leap. Don't know about bigger engines.

You dont hear too much about engine swaps on rodeos. I don't think anything is drop in & go. Check this fine link: http://myweb.cableone.net/bcanderson...uroraSwap.html
I suspect it would be a ton of work to tie in the driveshaft & get all the cabling and plumbing set up properly. You know how it is, anything is possible with enough $$$$! G/luck Joel

im looking to drop a carberated engine and hopefully an automatic. im thinking the biggest challenge will be the driveshaft. if the earlyer rodeos had chevy engines would the isuzu trans bolt to them. my 5sp in the 95 is new and i would like to use it. i did have the 3.2 which was very stronge, but did not last
