Smile Buying a 1994 88 Royale for my 1st car. Supercharging?

Heres the pic from the dealer:
http://images.autotrader.com/images/..._A.562x421.jpg
It's black, my fave color for a car. It looks sexy, selling for $2,000, 74K miles, carfax clean.
I wanted to spend like 7g for a car but ide rather buy this and Supercharge it, put cold air intake, maybe exhaust too, get new tranny when needed, and rest for repairs ie altenator, fuel pump, etc.
Wondering if anyone has comments on this, like if they even sell used s/c for 3800 series I, and how much would it cost to install.

Thank you for any help.

P.S something like this: http://www.actionsalvage.com/superchargers.asp
Any1 of those will fit it?

There may be other things to add/change, ie accessory brackets, air pipes/hoses, PCM? in order to add a supercharger. The car looks nice, but I think I'd buy it and just run with the 3800 motor normally aspirated.

Re: Buying a 1994 '88 Royale for my 1st car. Supercharging?

Sounds like a good deal. It looks exactly like mine only w/o the chrome in the body trim, and mines a 95' LSS. I believe that was the first year SC was available too. For the record, I paid $2,600 for mine and it has 140k. It sounds like a lot of miles, but the car is truly 95% mint. It's also supercharged from the factory, and it's loaded; cruise, cd-cassette-stereo, auto-matic climate control, power seats, leather, compass in the rearview and everything works perfectly. It's extrmely clean, I put about 400 miles on it in two weeks, and the engine oil still looks like it just came out of the can, the engine compartment is spottless and there are abslolutely no leaks. I plan to use Mobil1 from here on. It was stalling out when warm whenever it came to a stop, but I replaced the throttle position control sensor and now it's running beutifully. It handles really nice w/ 4 brand new 16" Continental Tourings, and I'm actually really surprised at how stiff the suspension is on the car. I was worried when it didn't run well and was stalling, but I'm happy now. Oh, and black is my favorite also.

cool deal.

lol, there is no way to supercharge that car without a motor+trans+pcm drop.

Sell car and buy an SSEi/LSS/Regal/GTP

But that is not a bad price.

Throw a CAI on there, High flow cat, clean the MAF, remove maf screen, do the ES Endlink Conversion, replace o2/wires/plugs and it should be running fairly smooth.
