Ok just so i can ask and see if theres something im doing wrong or whatever maybe someone knows what to do to fix it, I have an aftermarket shift knob and everytime i tighten it up...within days or hours later its flopping around again. ive screwed those tiny little things in there as tight as can be, but still it seems to keep getting loose..its really annoying that i think about just putting the stock one back on. anyone else have this problem or know if im doing something retarded?

Re: aftermarket shift knob
You could always try some locktight.

Re: aftermarket shift knob
Try putting a small washer thing (the type that looks broken, with a cut in the circle and one end slightly on top of another) between the knob and the stick thread...

Re: aftermarket shift knob
he's using the kind with the little allen bolts on the side that tighten up. ive never had much luck with them since they always seem to come loose.try wrapping the shifter arm in electrical tape until the knob is a snug fit. then shoove it on and tighten the locks with some locktight

Re: aftermarket shift knob
I just drilled little holes in the shifter, just enough so that the allen bolts wont move around. And used lock tight. It hasnt come loose since.
